This is the first post of the new Scarlett and Giselle! This blog used to exist on Blogger as a personal fashion blog. And before that, I had another blog by the name of Oh, Bother that I started at age 15. Fashion blogging has been an inspiration to me for the last 8 years of my life, but the time has come for me to broaden my horizons. For this reason, I am so pleased to introduce Scarlett and Giselle Studio. It’s not much yet, but I hope it will become a lot more.
Perhaps a little about me: Hello! My name is Jenna. I’m a photographer, artist, writer, explorer, and perpetual 10-year-old dreamer. I graduated from UCLA this past June with a degree in Art History. My studies have focused on the role of women in the art of the Northern Renaissance. I’m in love with the women of the world. Scarlett and Giselle is a way for me to connect with the women before me, the women of literature and dreams, the women I love and look up in my personal life, and the people of the world who need celebrating. I profess my love in many ways: through photographs and artwork, through essays, through journeys, and through conversations. I hope to share all that inspires me in this space, and I can’t wait to get started. I hope you love what I have in store.
